





Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe along with directors-general and relevant officials, conducted an on-site inspection of rural development projects in Tatkone Township, Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw on April 30.
The Union Minister and officials, first, visited Shartaw Village Group’s Shwe-U-Daung Village in Tatkone Township. There, they observed a food processing business operated by trainees who completed a vocational course under the Small-Scale Industries Department’s Rural Household Income Enhancement Program, supported with necessary equipment and AT sewing business run by trainee of a sewing machine training program.
The Union Minister coordinated solutions to the challenges raised by the business owners and emphasized the importance of collective efforts rather than individual actions to ensure greater success. The Union Minister and officials then proceeded to Gway Pin Model Village in Shartaw Village Group, where they met with agricultural and general cooperative executives and farmers from Gway Pin, Shartaw, and Thae Phu villages.
After addressing the concerns raised by cooperative farmers, the Union Minister inspected the summer paddy cultivation progress. They, then visited Shartaw Village, where they examined a mobile water purification and distribution by the Rural Development Department, an 180-foot submersible bridge under construction by the Rural Road Development Department to reconnect Shartaw and Nyaung Pin Thar villages, damaged by Typhoon Yagi. Relevant officials provided updates on the projects, and the Union Minister stressed the need for timely, quality-compliant completion of all tasks.
