Coordination meeting: Meeting to organize Int’l Workers’ Day

A coordination meeting for organizing the upcoming International Workers' Day event, which will take place on May 1st, was held in the meeting room of the Region Government Office in Dawei Township of Taninthayi Region on April 28.

During the meeting, Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, explained that the purpose of the meeting was to ensure the inclusion of departmental activities in the exhibition, as well as an MSME exhibition from the region. He emphasized that the necessary coordination would be carried out to ensure the successful celebration of the event, particularly stressing the importance of focusing on security arrangements.

Following that, relevant committee members presented detailed discussions on various tasks, including event preparations, invitation management, exhibition setup, transportation, health services, and security. Each committee provided clarifications on their responsibilities, and the region ministers offered additional input and discussions. The Chief Minister, then, coordinated the necessary actions to be able to organize the event sucessfully.
