Legal knowledge training: SAC member MOHA UM attended closing ceremony

The closing ceremony of the Legal Knowledge Dissemination Training Course (Batch 2), organized by the Ministry of Border Affairs, was held at the Ayeyawady Hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on March 10.

In attendance were member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Phyo Thant, Permanent Secretary, Director-General, officials from the Minister's Office and departments, trainers, and trainees.

First, the Union Minister emphasized that understanding legal knowledge is essential for effectively implementing socio-economic development initiatives. He stated that the training courses on legal knowledge dissemination are being continuously conducted in offices and schools in accordance with the guidance of the Head of State.

He urged the staff to respect and abide by the laws, rules, regulations, and procedures established for the stability, peace, rule of law, and socio-economic development of the nation. He also encouraged them to avoid legal conflicts and to carry out their duties with strong conviction in accordance with the law.

Following this, the Union Minister and officials observed a legal lecture where the training completed personnel discussed the "Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law/By-laws" and the "Public Property Protection Law." Officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs also shared knowledge on preventing and combating (Cyber Scam) and (Online Gambling).

The Union Minister and officials then joined the trainees for a group photo session. The Legal Knowledge Dissemination Training Course (Batch 2) of the Ministry of Border Affairs commenced on March 3 with 20 trainees and lasted for one week.

The course covered various subjects, including the Civil Service Law, rules and regulations, office operations manual, travel allowance manual, public property protection law, anti-corruption law, and civil service ethics. The training was conducted by a group of personnel who had previously attended legal knowledge dissemination training courses given by the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
