







To prioritize the basic needs of the public within the state and to enhance public service delivery, the Kachin State Government held a coordination meeting with state-level departments on April 20th at the Mali Kha Hall of the State Government Office. The meeting focused on ensuring that the projects to be implemented during the first 100 days would be effective "Quick Win" projects that benefit the people.
At the coordination meeting, the State Chief Minister, U Khet Htein Nan, urged that the state government must prioritize the basic needs of the people and necessarily implement Quick Win projects during the first 100-day period. He stated that depending on the state's needs and implementation capacity, projects that bring tangible benefits to the public must be prioritized. He also stressed the need for alignment between the projects presented today and those implemented on the ground, and called on everyone to work together in unity to ensure that public services reach the hands of the people successfully.
Following this, state-level department heads in attendance presented, using PowerPoint, the Quick Win project plans that their respective departments will effectively implement for the benefit of the people during the upcoming 100-day period. Members of the state government then provided additional reviews, clarifications, and discussions on the necessary points.
Afterwards, the State Chief Minister provided supplementary guidance on the matters raised and delivered the concluding remarks, it’s reported.
