





In honor of the 78th Anniversary of the Union Day, a ceremony to inaugurate a rural road in Thit Seint Pin Village in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, was held at the road inauguration site on February 4.
The event was attended by Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe, Nay Pyi Taw Council member, Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, and officials concerned. First, Union Minister U Hla Moe, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe, the Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, and officials cut the ribbon to officially open the new rural road in Thit Seint Pin Village.
They then inspected the road construction work. Following this, the rural road inauguration ceremony continued at the village temporary briefing hall. Union Minister U Hla Moe stated that the Ministry is implementing the long-term sustainable and balanced development goals, aligned with the national comprehensive development strategies.
He emphasized that rural development is a priority, with efforts to construct rural roads to facilitate the timely and efficient transportation of agricultural products to markets. He also highlighted the importance of farmers using high-quality seeds, improving soil quality, ensuring adequate irrigation, and adopting proper cultivation techniques to achieve target yields.
The Ministry will provide necessary technical support to farmers. Next, Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Min Oo explained the ongoing regional development activities within the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. A local resident expressed gratitude, and responsible officials presented commemorative gifts to mark the road inauguration.
After the ceremony, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, and party visited the Thit Seint Pin Village Agricultural and General Cooperative Society. They inspected the TBL9 (TBL9) winter black gram cultivation fields and addressed necessary requirements. Then, they proceeded to Chaing Village in Dekkhinathiri Township to inspect the cultivation of Yezin Hybrid Variety-1 winter sunflowers by farmer U Aung Kyaw Khin. They met with cooperative members and sunflower farmers at the village temporary briefing hall. The Union Minister discussed their needs and addressed the farmers' requests.
Finally, the Union Minister and pary visited Zaung Chan Gone Model Village in Pyinmana Township, which is being developed as a modern model village. They inspected solar-powered irrigation systems and winter sunflower cultivation by cooperative members. The Union Minister met with village farmers, discussed their needs, and addressed their requests.
