The opening ceremony of the Legal Knowledge Dissemination Training (Course No. 1) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Cultures was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 13th January and attended by the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Tin Oo Lwin, along with Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, responsible officials, and staff members.
During his opening speech, the Union Minister stated that the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture regularly organizes training sessions to improve the performance of the personnel. He said that the Head of State guided to implement the legal knowledge dissemination programs for personnel in various government departments, including Union-level organizations, regional/state, district, and township offices, to be knowledgeable about and understand the relevant existing laws and regulations in order to implement them effectively, to prepare summary law books and the development of curriculum guidelines to facilitate the teaching and to conduct the legal knowledge dissemination programs to ensure that all citizens respect and comply with the law.
The Union Minister instructed that these initiatives should be carried out in line with the country's legal framework. The Union Minister emphasized that the purpose of the training is to enhance the legal knowledge and understanding of the staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. He encouraged the trainees to follow the training rules and attend all sessions without interruption. He also urged them to pay special attention to the subjects taught in the course and make the most of the learning experience.
Following this, the Union Minister, along with the relevant officials, greeted the trainees and closed the ceremony.
The training will run for two weeks, from January 13 to J 24, and will be attended by 26 trainees from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
