MOEE Announcement: Power supply to be temporarily suspended for maintenance

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy announced temporary power outages in several areas on June 27, 28 and July 4 to carry out maintenance and upgrade works on power lines and substations.

The outages will affect parts of Loilem, Panlong, and Laihka townships in Shan State, while some areas in Yangon, Ayeyawady, and Magwe regions may also experience temporary electricity disruptions due to transmission system upgrades.

The ministry said the maintenance aims to improve power supply reliability, voltage quality, and electrical safety. Factories and businesses in affected areas have been notified in advance.
