Greening Efforts: Monsoon tree planting event in Myitkyina

A Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony was jointly organized by the Kachin State Forest Department and Rural Road Development Department at Basic Education Primary School in Palana (3) Ingyin Myaing Village, Myitkyina Township on Saturday under the guidance of the State Government.

During the event, a total of 2,000 saplings from 13 species, including Manjansha, SagaWah, Khayay, Pyin Ma, Gantgaw, and Mahogany were planted along both sides of Ngwe Pyaw Road from Palana (1) to (4) village-tracts.
