







The Workshop on discussing ways to establish national standards for educational quality and to enhance integrated teaching methods for the Industrial Training Centers (ITCs) was held at the Ministry of Industry office No (30) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 11th September and attended by Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, Deputy Minister U Yin Maung Nyunt, Directors General and Managing Directors from the Ministries of Industry, Labour, Education and Science and Technology and officials concerned.
In his opening speech, the Union Minister mentioned that this workshop for ITCs is aimed at setting national quality standards for education and finding ways to achieve these objectives. The Ministry of Industry is also working to expand training centers according to the needs of regions and states.
There is a need to create continuous learning opportunities for outstanding trainees, and the establishment of new educational pathways is necessary for this purpose. In response to changing systems, the teaching methods at ITCs need to be developed to ensure long-term growth and produce skilled industrial professionals.
It is essential to connect with relevant departments to achieve recognition both domestically and internationally. Establishing educational standards for ITCs is a crucial process. The findings from this workshop will be used to make necessary adjustments and improvements to achieve the objectives.
Next, the Director General of the Directorate of Industrial Collaboration, secretary of National Accreditation and quality Assurance Committee, advisor of National Skills Standard Authority clarified the related matters and the Union Minister took a documentary photo together with the attendees.
