Education Promotion: Committee meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi met with members of the Education Promotion Committee at the Hluttaw Building in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the committee briefed the Speaker on its current work and future plans. The Speaker stressed the importance of strengthening the education system, reviewing education-related laws, including the 2014 National Education Law, and promoting technical and vocational education (TVET). He also encouraged the committee to support education reforms, improve teachers' welfare, and help ensure access to education for all children.
