Earthquake occursin southern Ibaraki Prefecture

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 occurred near Tokyo on Thursday morning.Japan’s Meteorological Agency said the quake was focused in southern Ibaraki Prefecture, at a depth of 46 kilometers.

One to four times of tremors were registered in many areas from northeastern through central Japan.The officials are urging caution for more tremors of up to lower five for about a week, as there is a risk of tumbling rocks and landslides in badly shaken areas.
