World's first ISO secretariat on artificial ice in Harbin

The world's first International Organization for Standardization technical committee secretariat on artificial ice-and-snow landscapes was established in Harbin of  China, in August 2026. The focus mission of the committee is to coordinate international safety, design, construction, internal operation, maintenance, and sustainable development standards for artificial ice-and-snow landscapes.

The committee will also coordinate the development of a series of international standards tailored to indoor and outdoor artificial ice-and-snow scenarios, providing a unified technical basis for the development of the global industry.
