Indonesian President Joko Widodo Officially Launches the New Logo of the State Capital

Indonesian President Joko Widodo officially launched a new logo for the new capital city of Nusantara. The president hopes that the new logo will inspire the new capital to create a comfortable place for living and become the symbol of life for the Indonesian people in the future.

The logo, designed by Aulia Akbar, consists of five roots at its base that represent the national ideology of Pancasila, seven roots rising upward representing Indonesia’s major islands, and 17 rays representing Indonesia’s Independence Day, which falls on August 17.
