Mumbai Hosts 13th CII BIG Picture Summit

Indian Information and Broadcasting Secretary Chanchal Kumar inaugurated the 13th annual Confederation of Indian Industry's BIG Picture Summit in Mumbai on Thursday, highlighting investment, innovation and global expansion as key priorities for India’s media and entertainment industry.

Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry in collaboration with WAVES Bazaar, the summit featured the two-day Global Media and Entertainment Investor Meet. Addressing industry leaders, investors and stakeholders, Chanchal Kumar called for greater investment in original intellectual property, skill development, global distribution and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

He emphasized these areas as important to building globally competitive Indian media and entertainment companies.
