Thai opposition parties sign MOU on coalition after election

Pita Limjaroenrat, head of Thailand's Move Forward Party (MFP), signs a memorandum of understanding with Chonlanan Srikaew, head of the Pheu Thai Party, and other political party leaders.

The eight-party coalition headed by the progressive MFP announces ambitious plans to rewrite the constitution, end military conscription and allow same-sex marriage, but made no mention of highly controversial proposals to change royal insult laws.
