Shanghai Geriatrics Center Launches Outpatient Trials

The Shanghai Geriatrics Center started trial operation on Monday, and opened 29 clinical departments including the Department of Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine, providing outpatient clinics, routine inspections, and basic medical services for surrounding residents.

Although it is called the "Geriatrics Center", the medical services are for adults of all ages. In the hospital, the medical and surgical clinics and auxiliary examinations for similar or related diseases are planned in the same clinic area as much as possible, so that patients can travel as less as possible.

The hospital reminded that during the trial operation, citizens can learn about the opening of departments and make appointments for outpatients through the WeChat. Volunteer and guidance services will also be provided on site.
