Russia says it evacuated 200 people from Sudan

The Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday said it has evacuated more than 200 people from Sudan. The Ministry said among the evacuees was employees of Russian diplomatic missions, members of their families, Russian servicemen, as well as other citizens of Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States and "several friendly foreign states."

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, four aircrafts of Russia's military transport aviation have been involved in the evacuation process.
