Chinlone referee training: MoSYA Union Minister attended opening ceremony

Steered by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, co-organized by Asian Sepaktaraw Federation and Asian Chinlone Federation, the opening ceremony of Chinlone referee training course was held at the Multipurpose Hall of Sports Training Gold Camp in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on Monday and attended by the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, deputy ministers, Chair of Asian Sepaktaraw Federation and Vice Chair of Asian Chinlone Federation Mr. Dato Abdul Halim Bin Kader, senior officials and trainees.

First, the trainees from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar individually introduced and the Union Minister U Min Thein Zan gave an opening speech. Next, the Chair of Asian Sepaktaraw Federation and Vice Chair of Asian Chinlone Federation clarified regarding with the opening of training. In his remark, the Union Minister said meanwhile the efforts are being made to advance the status of Chinlone sport which is Myanmar traditional sport into the stage of the world through the levels of Asian and South East Asian, the Chinlone referees who will serve the tasks in 2023 32nd SEA Games are given the refreshing course. After posing for the documentary group photo by the trainees together with the responsible officials, the ceremony was concluded.
