MSMEs Talk Show: MSMEs development in Mon State

The MSMEs Talk Show of the Mon State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency was held at the Pyinnya Beik man Hall in Thanbyu Zayat on 3rd March. At the discussion, Mon State Chief Minister U AungKyiThein said that MSME Talk Show aimed to know the advantages and disadvantages of the MSME entrepreneurs in the State and to support the necessary assistance.

He stressed the needs on cultivation of paddy and edible oil crops, sunflowers and it needs to encourage farmers for more cultivation of sunflowers and other edible oil crops with the State Economic Promotion Fund. Later, the State Economic Affairs Minister and the Secretary of Mon State MSMEs Development Agency reported on measures for regional development in Mon State and sector-wise implementations.

The Chief Minister then cordially conversed with local MSME entrepreneurs. It was followed by the talk show. The MSMEs, farmland, investment, technology, seeking markets, revenue, banking, human resource development and private sectors were discussed on which the MSME entrepreneurs asked about they would like to know and gave suggestions.
