Science and Technology: MOST Dy Minister inspects MIIT in Mandalay

Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr Aung Zeya visited Mandalay Institute of Information Technology (MIIT) on 3rd March.

The Rector of MIIT explained the saliant points of the institute and the Deputy Minister instructed for turning out the qualified experts who could support in building a modern and developed nation. He urged all to strive for making innovations on the digital information technologies for socio-economic development of people while encouraging the students to have smooth process in studying the innovations.

He also stressed the need to conduct joint reserach in cooperation with other universities and to hold the research conferences and technological shows. He also pointed out the need to make constant learning for capacity building of the teachers and strive to become the international standard institute.

The Deputy Minister and party later inspected the library, classrooms, teaching aids, and lab rooms.
