Paying Homage: Religious title recipients visit Maravijaya Buddha Image

Religious title recipient Sayadaws, nuns and laypersons who will attend the religious titles conferring ceremony 2023 of the State Administration Council paid homage to the Maravijaya Buddha Image in the Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw on Friday evening.

Lt-Gen Kan Myint Than of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief [Army] and an official explained about the aim of the construction of this Buddha Image, conveyance process and the beautifying works underway. And, the religious title recipient Sayadaws, nuns and laypersons looked around the construction of the Buddha image and throne as well as religious buildings in this Buddha Park. A well-wisher donated cash for the construction task of the Buddha Image.
