Efforts against Drugs: Kayah State Government holds competition in Loikaw

Kayah State Government held a painting, cartoon and poster competition to mark the 26thInternational Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and many other officials attended this competition at the Basic Education High School No. 1 in Loikaw Township.

It’s reported that students from the Basic Education high, middle and primary schools participated in the competition. The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, is marked on 26 June every year, to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving the goal of a world free of drug abuse. World Drug Day is a day to share research findings, evidence-based data and life-saving facts, and to continue tapping into a shared spirit of solidarity.
