






The Ministry of Health is striving to improve public health care sector and to provide better health care services for the patients at the People’s Hospitals.
Capacity building training are being conducted for the health staff to perform efficiently their works in the related fields.
The Department of Public Health in Mandalay Region conducted training courses for X-ray Technicians, Pharmacists and Medical Record Scrutinizers, and the completion ceremony of the training was held at the Mandalay city hall on Wednesday.
Dy Director-General, Dr. Win Naing, Department of Public Health (MDY) said "We are implementing for the development of human recourses to provide quality health care services to the public. The training for X-ray Technician (4) was conducted at the Mandalay General Hospital, for Pharmacist Grade (4) at the Mandalay 300 Bedded Teaching Hospital and for medical record scrutinizer Grade (4) at Pyin Oo Lwin General Hospital. These trainees will have to shoulder their duties at their respective hospitals."
60 trainees for X-ray Technician (4), 55 trainees for Pharmacist Grade (4) and 35 trainees for Medical Record Scrutinizer Grade (4) attended the training courses both practically and theoretically for 6 months.
Thar Htet San, Trainee said "I attended the training at the Mandalay 300 Bedded Teaching Hospital. We were trained both practically and theoretically for 3 months each at the hospitals in Mandalay Region."
The trainees were presented the Completion Certificates and the Letter of Appointment, and they will serve their duties at the Central, District, Township and Station Hospitals in Mandalay Region.
