Drug Seizure: Heroin worth over 720 million Kyats seized

Illegal drug was seized in the northern Shan State. In Naungcho Township of the State, 48.4 kilograms of heroin worth over 720 million Kyats were seized. A man was arrested along with the seizure.

Investigation is underway and and legal actions have been taken against the suspect in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
