






Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, together with State Security and Border Affairs Minister and Secretary of the State Government met with District and Township level departmental officials at the meeting hall of General Administration Department in Ann on 1st March.
During the meeting, Chairman of District Planning and Administration Committee U Aung Zaw Htet explained about the status of opening district offices and regional information. The district and township departmental officials also clarified about the operation of their respective departments. The State Security and Border Affairs Minister and the Secretary elaborated on the reports.
The Chief Minister said corporation works are needed for the agriculture, livestock and manufacturing businesses to develop, and along with the prevailing of peace and stability, the regional development works can be carried out accelerated momentum.
Due to having healthy soil in Ann region, it is necessary to expand agriculture and livestock farming while producing animal feeds locally. District and Township level departmental officials are urged to cooperate for regional development due to its strategic location of Ann Town, as the entrance to Rakhine State.
It is needed to provide technologies for producing pedigree seeds and to export the surplus of agriculture products to foreign countries so as to achieve more incomes for farmers. He called for collaboration of local residents and departmental staff in an effort for regional development together with the State Government.
After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected opening of district level departmental offices in the Ann Township General Administration Department compound, work undertakings at Paepadon Combined Check Point, Paepadon Bridge construction site, refurbishing of regional development office in Zay Taung Ward, renovation of Assembly Office in Layyin Kwin ward.
