Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and vehicle confiscated

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 24th, 25th and 26th of February, illegal goods including lead, blenders, grinders, clothes, used rear-view mirror, usedcar engines, battery and a vehicle worth over 320 million Kyats were confiscated at the Thanlwin Bridge (Hpa-an) combined checkpoint, at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint as well as on the Myawady-Yangon Road and in Dawbon township. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
