Coffee farm in Pyin Oo Lwin: Place to learn about coffee and take relaxation

Being Pyin Oo lwin is a pleasant city with full of natural resources and scenic natural beauty, efforts are being made to upgrade this city as international hill town with the aim to attract local and foreign visitors.

As Pyin Oo Lwin is a place where coffee is cultivated, the coffee farm (Pway Taung) is being implemented as a coffee park, dedicating to improve the quality of Myanmar’s coffee production and to penetrate the world’s coffee market as famous coffee city. Pway Taung coffee farm is 386.3 acres wide and is a distributing place of the coffee researches ,quality planting techniques, the high quality coffee strain.

Currently, general knowledge about coffee such as long history of world coffee and Myanmar’s coffee, various coffee strain which can be planted in respective regions can be learnt, taking relaxation at coffee knowledge center in coffee recreation park which has 83.48 acres. Decorations are being carried out around bridges along mud forest, rare trees, jungle roads, pathway and 120-year old banyan tree in coffee park.

Visitors can learn about coffee in coffee manufacturing industries and farms and also, tasting real coffee at the café shops and buying coffee related products can be made in one place. Plans are underway to launch the One-Stop service coffee market in expansion. A natural place will be emerged along with the implementation of coffee park.
