








Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Monday met with the Rakhine State MSME entrepreneurs for regional and MSME industry development.
This meeting at the U Uttama Hall in Sittwe began with Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, explaining the assistance for the MSME industry development including loan and exhibition plans as well as regional development projects, research, local and foreign investment and tourism sector.
And, the MSME entrepreneurs presented matters including the need to build a bridge for border trade and roads, to run coastal ships, to establish industrial zones, to provide the agriculture sector and MSME industry with necessary assistance for development.
In their response, union ministers highlighted the government’s efforts for transport sector and MSME industry and agriculture sector development. They also stressed the need to preserve environment, to produce quality salt and to cooperate with governmental employees to eradicate illegal trade.
The union ministers also pledged to provide training for the MSME industry development. And, the Senior General highlighted matters including loan allocation of 10 billion Kyats for agriculture and manufacturing sector in Rakhine State, importance of acceleration of local products manufacturing for economic development of the country, plans for the MSME entrepreneurs to export their products and importance of education for human resource development.
He also called for cooperation for stability in the state for regional development. After the meeting, the Senior General marine products, foodstuffs, industrial materials, traditional handicrafts and clothes on display.
