







The paper reading session of “Teacher Exchange Program” to be implemented with Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (2020) was held at Mingalar Thiri Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw through Hybrid system on Monday.
At the event, Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint said that the Teacher Exchange Program that is being undertaken by the Basic Education Department of the Ministry of Education is one of the projects supported by the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (2020).
The paper reading session will be held for 3 days and the papers from Myanmar, China and Cambodia will be read out and experts from the University of Education will also attend and discuss.
Through the education policies, theories, curriculum, assessment systems, teaching techniques, learning experiences, challenges and sharing the educational reforms being implemented in the respective countries, teachers will be able to dispatched each other in the future.
He also expressed thanks to China for supporting to implement harmonious development while building friendship mechanism among Mekong-Lancang countries. The Minister Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Myanmar Dr Zheng Zhihong gave a speech.
The directors general and the deputy directors general of the Departments under the Ministry of Education, professors from Universities of Education in Yangon and Sagaing, educational officers, staffs and concerned officials joined the event. The symposium will be held until 1st March.
