Health Sector: Dy. Health Minister met health staff in Sittwe

Deputy Minister for Health Dr Aye Tun, together with officials, visited Rakhine State Traditional Medicine Department on Sunday, and comforted the patients who are receiving medical treatment there.

They also visited the State Food and Drug Administration Department (FDA) and viewed the work processes. The Deputy Minister later met with the Specialists, Assistant Doctors, Senior Nurses and health staff as well as the staff from FDA at 500 bed Hospital in Sittwe.

The Medical Superintendent reported on the measures for providing public health and work process of the Hospital. After hearing the reports on the requirements of the hospital, the Deputy Minister coordinated the needs. He later viewed the patient wards at the hospital.
