Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, motorbikes and timber seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 23rd, 24th and 25th of February, illegal goods including PVC resin, toy cars, ECG recording paper,  basin waste P-traps, cement bags, industrial raw materials, soy milk, used fans, motorbikes and timber worth over 413 million Kyats were confiscated on the Myawaddy-Hpa-An-Yangon Road, at the Asia World Port Terminal container checkpoint, at the Myanmar International Terminal (Thilawa) and at the Mayanchaung permanent checkpoint as well as in Pale ward 1 of Mingaladon Township, Muse Township and in Toungoo District.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
