Judicial matters: USC held 24th virtual coordination meeting

Chief Justice of the Union Supreme Court U Htun Htun Oo attended the 24th virtual coordination meeting of the Union Supreme Court with the State/Region High Courts, Self-Administered Division Court, Self-Administered Zone Courts and District Courts online in the morning on February 23.

During the meeting, the Chief Justice of the Union said the courts should examine the cases as quickly as possible and make fair and right decisions. The court led mediation system in civil suits facilitates the examining and making judges, the courts should make more efforts to delegate more mediation in civil cases and to come forward before the court by the dispute parties to offer their own settlement. In examining and making judges regarding with the cases concerned with the money laundering, the courts should address the enacted provisions, state procedures. eing government employees, they should show loyalty to the country, responsibility, respect and unity.

Next, from January 1st to December 31st of 2022, the criminal and civil cases receiving and completing and remaining cases by the Supreme Court of the Union and Regions and States High Courts, Self-Administered Division, Self-Administered Zones and District Courts were described in detail.

The judges of the Supreme Court of the Union, permanent secretary, directors general, deputy directors general, directors, chief justices of the regions and states, staff officers of regions and states, judges of Self-Administered Division, Self-Administered Zones and District Courts attended via video conferencing. The meeting will take place from 32rd to 25th February, it’s learnt.
