









The Kachin State Government is conducting the field inspection tours as per the districts for the improvement of agriculture, livestock breeding and MSME goods productions in the state implementing with the country’s economic promotion fund. On February 22, the state Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, state ministers and departmental officials inspected wards and villages in Puta-O Township implementing agriculture and livestock breeding with the country’s economic promotion fund.
First, the chief minister together with the state ministers and officials attended the opening ceremony of basic training on the natural disaster management held at the Government Technical Institute (Puta-O). The Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan gave an opening speech at the ceremony.
Next, the head officer of state natural disaster management department Daw Hla Kathi Mar clarified the purposes of conducting training, the arrangements to be discussed n the training regarding with the natural disaster management and the documentary group photo with the trainees from departments, members of Red Cross Society, members of Fire Brigade and the civil society organizations.
Then, the principal and responsible persons took the chief minister and party around the institute regarding with the status of teaching the students with the teaching aids as per the subjects.
Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the status of cat fish breeding farms and shop of cooperative society selling the local products running with the country’s economic promotion fund in KaungKaHtaung ward of Puta-O.
Then, the hybrid cat fish breeding and hybrid breeding of common carp and red fish endemic to Puta-O region carrying out at the fisheries department in Myoma Ward were inspected and coordinated necessaries.
Next, the harvesting of red potato plantation, vegetable plantation and the operating of rice noodle factory and other agriculture and livestock breeding farms implementing with the country’s economic promotion fund were inspected.
