Inter-College Football Tournament: Pa-An Education Degree College team won the championship

Pa-An Education Degree College team won the championship at 2022-2023 academic year Inter-College Football Tournament, after beating Meikhtila Education Degree College Team at the final match with 3-2 on Wednesday.

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win enjoyed the final match together with the SAC members, the Union Ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, senior military officers, the Deputy Ministers, teachers and students from the universities and colleges in regions and states and the athletes.

Pa-An Education Degree College got the opening goal at 13 minutes in the first half and the Meikhtila team leveled the goal at 45 minutes by a penalty shoot. Pa-An team got the second leading goal at 60 minutes in the second half while the Meikhtila team leveled the match at 72 minutes.

The winning goal was gained at 90 minutes by the Pa-An team, and won the match with 3-2. It was followed by the awarding ceremony, and officials presented best goal keeper award to Saw Lumin Aung of Pa-An Education Degree College, best defender award to Myo Lin Aung of Magwe Education Degree College, best midfielder to Ye Thway of Pa-An Education Degree College, best attacker to Cho Too of Meikhtila Education Degree College, and the best player award to Saw Too Too Bi of Pa-An Education Degree College.

Then, the third prize winner Magwe Degree College, second prize winner Meikhtila Education Degree College and first prize winner Pa-An Education Degree College were presented medals and cash awards individually. The Vice Senior General later presented the cash award and Championship Trophy to Pa-An Education Degree College.
