Coordination Meeting: Meeting for holding the 49th Mon State Day 2023

A work coordination meeting for successful holding the 49th Mon State Day 2023 was held at the State Government Office on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the Mon State Chief Minister said that the respective committees are assigned duties for the successful holding of the 49th Mon State Day celebration which falls on 19th March 2023 and arrangements will be made to include the entertainment programs such as traditional dances of Mon ethnic people and other national races.

He also stressed the needs on display of products from respective townships in the State as the booths of departments and MSME booths will be exhibited under the program of “One Region One Product” and giving suggestions on holding the ceremony. Members of the Work Committee for holding the ceremony explained about preparations for holding Mon State Day celebration. Officials then reported sector-wise implementation on which the State Chief Minister coordinated the needs.
