Inspection to continue works: MOI Union Minister inspected construction of Art Center

The Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung inspected the International standard Art Center (Mandalay) which is under construction in Myothit Ward-2, Chan Mya Tharzi Township in the afternoon and the requirements were coordinated for the continuation of implementing construction.

At the construction site, the responsible persons clarified the status of constructing the building to the Union Minister and Chief Minister and the queries raised on the points to be needed to know. Next, the union minister and chief minister looked the construction of two-storey each on the surface and underground.

The International standard Art Center (Mandalay) was initiated with stake driving on 30th August, 2015 on the land area of 6 acres in Myothit Ward-2, Chan Mya Tharzi Township, on 5th April, 2016, the construction works were commenced by I-Green Development & Engineering Group.

The dimension of the building is 350, 250 and 100 feet of Steel Structure building with two-storey each on the surface and underground. Although the construction work was suspended in 2017, the works were resumed in 2018.

The works were suspended again during 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the works were resumed and the construction works were completed at current status on November 6, 2021. Before the work cannot be continued, the processes of returning work will be carried out and the arrangements for the requirements to be completed the building at 100% are being made, it’s learnt.
