Meeting with locals: SAC member met with teachers and locals in Monywa

The member of the State Administration Council  Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defense General Mya Tun Oo together with Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, Commander of North-West Command Ma-J Gen. Than Htaik and officials met with the Sagaing Region Government, region level departmental officials, teachers from Universities, Colleges and Basic Education Schools in Monywa Township at the region government office in the morning on 19th February.

First, the SAC member deputy prime minister union minister general Mya Tun Oo explained the implementations of the government regarding with the five point road map, development conditions and the status of implementing ASEAN five point consensus for Myanmar.

Next, the attendees were provided with foodstuff and cordially greeted and met with the members of region government, gave necessary instructions and coordinated requirements with the responsible officials. Afterward, the SAC member and party, region chief minister and commander visited 500-bed Monywa People’s Hospital, comforted the residents who are receiving medical treatment at the hospital and provided foodstuff.

In the afternoon, the SAC member deputy prime minister union minister for defense general Mya Tun Oo met with the families from Monywa station at the Zayyarthiri Hall of the North-West Command, gave a remark, provided foodstuff to the families of the station and cordially greeted the officers, ranks and family members.

Afterward, the SAC member and Commander visited Monywa regional Tatmadaw hospital, comforted the Tatmadawmen, family members, members of Myanmar Police Force and local residents who are undergoing medical treatment and provided foodstuff, it’s learnt.
