Virtual Meeting: Union Minister meets Indian Minister

A virtual meeting between Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) of the Republic of India Mr. Shri G.Kishan Reddy was held on Friday.

In the meeting, they discussed peace and stability in border areas of the two countries, transportation, socio-economic development, promoting bilateral friendship and cooperation.

Also present at the meeting together with the Union Minister were Deputy Minister for Border Affairs, permanent secretary, the director general, officials, senior diplomat, chargé d' affaires ad interimand the first secretary of the Indian Embassy in Myanmar.

From India side, officials of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and the Ministry of External Affairs of India and Myanmar Ambassador to India attended the virtual meeting together with the Indian Minister.
