Work Coordination Meeting: Construction Task Scrutinizing Committee meets

The work coordination meeting (1/2023) of Construction Task Scrutinizing Committee for 2022-2023 fiscal year was held at the Minsitry of Construction in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. At the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant said that the meeting aimed to carry out systematically the construction tasks across the country that are being undertaken with the State budget, to ensure quality in accordance with set standards, not to lose the state funds, to be balanced the expenses and to follow directives, financial rules and regulations.

The Union Minister stressed the needs on completion of the construction tasks within the set standard for the development of the nation and carrying out the new project and ongoing projects within the allotted expenditure framework of the Ministry. Deputy Minister U Win Pe and the Permanent Secretary of the Union Auditor General Office discussed the facts to be followed in drafting budgets, financial rules, regulations and policies, directives, procedures and work programs. Later, Officials reported on sector-wise implementations on which the Union Minister gave necessary instructions.
