






The outstanding award presentation ceremony marking the 77th Anniversary of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) was held at the MRTV Auditorium in Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Wednesday.
Member of the SAC U Maung Ko, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the permanent secretary, departmental heads, staffs and invited guests attended the ceremony. At the ceremony, the MRTV staff performed the song “Thriving MRTV”. Later, SAC member U Maung Ko extended greetings and presented prizes to MRTV staffs who won gold medals in the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (National Level). And then, Union Minister for Information U MaungMaungOhn gave a speech and presented prizes to a staff on behalf of 43 who are presented public servant badges and the staffs who won 1st prizes in local and abroad training courses.
The former staff of MRTV then presented a commemorative gift marking the celebration to Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn. Later, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Director General of MRTV U Ye Naing and departmental heads presented awards to outstanding staffs in the respective fields. MRTV staff then presented performance with the song “MRTV and good day”. The music entertainment marking the 77th Anniversary of MRTV celebration was held on the lawn in front of MRTV office and MRTV staff performed with San Taw Chain tune in accompaniment with Myanma orchestra.
SAC member U MaungKo, Union Ministers and Deputy Minister drew lots for the welfare of the staff and presented prizes. SAC member U Maung Ko and the Union Ministers then presented honoraria to the Director General U Ye Naing marking the celebration. Later, the Union Ministers and the Deputy Minister presented honourary awards to the staffs who have served as civil servants for 37 years and above.
The SAC member U Maung Ko, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers and departmental officials enjoyed entertainments of artists, musicians and MRTV staff in accompaniment with Myanma Athan Modern Music Troupe and Myanma Orchestra.
