3rd day meeting: SPTT talks with the NMSP peace delegation

The 3rd day meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and the peace delegation led by the Vice Chairman of New Mon State Party (NMSP) was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt-Gen YarPyae, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe MyintTun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, NSPNC members, Vice-Chairman of the New Mon State Party Nai Aung Min, Joint Secretary Nai Win Hla, Central Executive Committee members and peace representatives attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed regional development, teaching of Mon literature and general affairs. According to the 3-day meeting, they negotiated to reach the agreements and the final agreements were signed and exchanged. Later, the NMSP Vice Chairman Nai Aung Min and the leader of the Peace Talks Team Lt-Gen Yar Pyae gave concluding remarks, respectively. The books on Global Affairs, Myanmar Affairs and Ethnic Affairs published by the Ministry of Information were presented as the gift.
