Regional Activities: Holding the exam &performing health care services

The test exam supporting high passing rate for the 2023 matriculation exam started on 14th February and Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin observed taking the test exam by students at the private high school in Magway. Out of 13,633 students who have applied to take 2023 matriculation exam in Magway region, 4,037 students take the test exam that will be held until 20th February.

In 2022 matriculation exam, Magway region achieved 42.03 percent of passing rate and it is targeted to achieve 45% passing rate in 2023 matriculation exam. The students who take the teat exam are arranged to provide revision at the relevant schools of respective townships in line with the guidance of the Region Chief Minister.

The Region Chief Minister together with the regional ministers and officials observed giving health care services by Tatmadaw mobile medical team comprising of physicians, health offcers and nurses to the locals at the Mi Chaung Ye village station hospital in Magway Region and encouraged to the locals who are receiving health care services and presented 1.5 million kyats for Tatmadaw mobile medical team.

Based on Michaung Ye village station hospital, the medical team performed medical treatment to 254 locals in that village and nearby villages. The mobile medical team provided medical services, surgical operations, obstetric/gynecologic diseases, pediatric diseases, orthopedic diseases, Ear Nose Throat related diseases, eye diseases, dental diseases and common diseases to the patients.

Moreover, the medical team also carried out diagnosis for patients and took ECG test for heart disease patients and lab tests. And the team made necessary arrangements for the patients who need medical services at the hospital to receive medical treatments at the nearest Tatmadaw hospitals.

Tatmadaw mobile medical team also conducted health awarness talks on hypertension and diabetes diseases to the locals and the medical team will perform health care serives to locals based on Michaung Ye station hospital from 14th to 16th February and in the villages of Taungdwin Gyi Township on 17th, 18th and 19th.
