1st MAI Golf Tournament: In commemoration of the 76th Anniversary Union Day

In commemoration of the 76th anniversary of Union Day, Myanmar Airways International (MAI) conducted a golf tournament for the first time at the Dagon Golf Club on 12th of February. 

A total of 26 pairs and 104 people competed at the tournament. The contestants are pilots, crews and ground staffs from MAI air, air KBZ, aviation industry, and the department related to the airlines and airport operators. 

Director, Myanmar Airways International, Tin Maung Than, said " This is first time celebration of theGolf tournament and we will be celebrated the tournament every year. In commemoration of the 76th anniversary of Union Day and to honor the aviators as our air travel sector, we conducted a MAI golf tournament.

The prizes were awarded to the golfer who hits the ball closest to the pin, the golfer who hits the ball nearest line and the golfer who hits the ball the farthest on the predetermined hole (longest drive).
