Dinner Reception: PM attends the reception in honour of the Union Day

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thayay Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife hosted a dinner in honour of the 76th anniversary Union Dayat the façade of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall on Sunday.

On arrival at the venue, the Prime Minister and wife were welcomed by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Thiri Pyan Chi Maha Thayay Sithu Soe Win and wife, the Union Ministers and wives, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and ethnic cultural troupes from the regions and states.

They later cordially greeted to the ethnic cultural troupes, the Chairmen and representatives from the Political Parties, the Leaders and representatives from the NCA Signatories Ethnic Armed Organizations, Ethnic Affairs Ministers from the Regions and States, Deputy Ministers, Senior Military Officers from the Commander-in-Chief Office, the Union Ministers, the Union Level personnel and members of the State Administration Council.

The Prime Minister and party later enjoyed the dinner together with the attendees, while the vocalists staged the performances with the accompaniment of Myanmar Athan Modern Music Troupe. They later viewed the display of fireworks in commemoration of the 76th anniversary Union Day.

At the Open Theatre, the Prime Minister and party enjoyed the entertainments by the artistes of Fine Art Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, and traditional dances of ethnic cultural troupes.
