Rebound of Flights and Passengers: flight and tourist arrival on the rise at YGN Int’l Airport

The operations of flight and tourist arrival are increasing at the Yangon International Airport due to resuming international flights operations since 17th April in 2022.  57 percent of passengers rendered services during 2022 are the domestic airlines and there was a total running of 33,750 flights.

It has increased at 52 percent compared with 2021. The Yangon Aerodrome Co., Ltd. is expecting the rebound in operation of international flights and tourists arrival and the collaboration with domestic and international partners is conducting to render better services for the travelers, safety and convenience of commercial flight sector, as well as leveling up the human resources and teaching and training are also being carried out.
