Knowledge sharing event: Business success guide for business enterprises

A ceremony on knowledge sharing for the business success guide including the success basic guidelines for MSME development to implement one of the objectives of the SAC, “to promote and support local businesses to create employment opportunities and increase domestic production” was held at the Industrial Supervision and Inspection Department in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region on Thursday.

At the event, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said that the business success guidebook was published in 2018 with the assistance of international organizations based on the good practices, knowledge and experiences that will support better facilitation in operating businesses. In the the guidebook, the success guides for MSMEs and entrepreneurships and start-up business include.

According to the open market economic system, the economic enterprises are needed to provide to be able to transform as the commpetative businesses that have strong creativity than ordinary businesses.

Most of economic enterprises are facing many challenges and difficulties to overcome financial knowledge, weak competency skills and market penetration in the global value chain. In order to prioritize the market and produce products, the market situations must be understood and managed.

It must be carried out to improve financial management, sustainable development and long-term sustainable business activities. The MSME enterprises will be enriched with economic knowledge and will be carried out the business activities by studying good practices of domestic and foreign markets.

3 staffs from the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection discussed the success tips for the businesses, market and external environment condition, drafting work plan and managing a business and the ways to draft the work plan in detail. Participants gave a general round of discussions and raised queries.

The knowledge sharing ceremony was held with the aim to enrich knowledge on business activities of MSME enterprises, to manage a business in competition, to study the business guide practically and usefully and to apply suitable and good practices. 23 officers of factories and workshops under the Ministry in Yangon region, 28 MSME entrepreneurs, 15 special invited guests, altogether 66 attended the event.
