Final preps for launch of China space module

Final preparations were being made on Saturday for the upcoming launch of China's Mengtian space module, according to state media.State broadcaster CCTV showed footage of Mengtian and its carrier rocket Long March-5B Y4 on the launch pad, as engineers and officials conducted pre-launch tests at the Wenchang Launch Center in the southern province of Hainan and at the Beijing Aerospace Control Center.
CCTV said the Mengtian laboratory module will be used for studying microgravity and be used for experiments in fluid and combustion physics. Mengtian is the final section that would complete the Tiangong space station.China's space program is run by the ruling Communist Party's military wing, the People's Liberation Army, and has largely proceeded with the Tiangong program without other nations' assistance.
