UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres visits Viet Nam

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on 22ndOctober spoke at Viet Nam’s Meteorological and Hydrological Administration about disaster preparedness and said the goal is to have early warning systems in all countries of the world within five years.
The Secretary-General also participated in the Dav Style Dialogue with youth representatives and peacekeepers at Viet Nam’s Academy of Diplomacy.
During the second day of his visit to Viet Nam, Guterres visited the Temple of Literature, participated in a tree-planting ceremony at Viet Nam’s Academy of Diplomacy, and crossed the Huc Bridge at the Ngoc Son Temple.
The Secretary-General held meetings with Viet Nam’s President Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Resources and Environment and the Chairman of the National Assembly.
