

Fireworks lit up the skies of the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, on Monday as part of celebrations to mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party.
Hundreds of dancers performed in a main square in the city, as a long display of fireworks and music went on. North Korea has remained closed to travel since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in China in January 2020.
It was the first country in the world to close it borders against COVID-19, and so far has not said if it offers vaccines or will open again.
