Car theft suspect in high speed chase in NC

Police say a man led police on a two-hour high-speed chase Wednesday around Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding areas.

The man crashed into at least two other drivers during the chase. Police haven't said whether anyone was seriously injured. The suspect stole four vehicles during the incident. Aerial video showed the suspect driving into oncoming traffic and on sidewalks. The incident started as a residential breaking and entering call where a Jeep was stolen. The driver crashed into a pickup truck and surrendered shortly after 1:30 p.m local time.
